CulturalDC

CulturalDC is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1998, that makes space for art through its programs and services. CulturalDC’s mission is to encourage artistic innovation by connecting artists, arts organizations, developers, and government agencies to facilitate economic and cultural vibrancy in the District of Columbia and neighboring urban communities.

CulturalDC’s Mobile Art Gallery continues our strong history of presenting cutting edge artwork and emerging artists by allowing artists to transform a fully-outfitted 40ft shipping container into an immersive environment. The gallery moves across the city throughout the season with a new exhibit and a different community project in every neighborhood it visits. CulturalDC’s Performing Arts Program is geared at developing performing artists and performing arts organizations and connecting with communities across Washington, DC.
