Korean Traditional Cultural Center
Korean Traditional Cultural Center (a.k.a. KTCC) was founded in 2003 with a mission to promote Korean culture in the U.S by education and performance. In addition to numerous stage performances, KTCC has been donating instruments and lesson instructions to middle schools and high schools in the New York and New Jersey areas such as Hunter College High School and Ridgewood High School Also in July 2005, KTCC performed at the Mets’ “Korean Night”, an event that gathered 100 Salmunori (traditional Korean drumming) participants in one amazing performance. Our Seven Stars Theater that just opened in Times Square is the first theater in the US that specializes in preservation and presentation of traditional Korean performing arts. It will soon be the international hub of world music and cultural exchange where all cultures and people come together in the joy of music and dance.
