Windsor Art Center

  • About Us

"The Windsor Art Center celebrates creativity and inspires an appreciation for diverse artistic cultures by showcasing the visual and performing arts."

Based out of a historic 1800’s freight house in downtown Windsor, CT, the Windsor Art Center is the place for the visual and performing arts.

    Our programs include:

    Art Exhibitions

We host upwards of six visual art exhibitions each year covering genres as diverse as graffiti art, photography, installation art, paintings, and multi-media art. We offer a variety of programs to complement our exhibitions including art talks, lectures, workshops, and performances.

    Music Series

Two Thursdays each month we host concerts ranging from folk to jazz to presentations of original work by local composers. Our music series provides a great opportunity to network and socialize in our gallery space and enjoy some light refreshments before seeing concerts by both local and nationally known musicians.

    Artists Studios and Classes

Across the tracks from the Art Center is our Windsor Art Center Studios housed in the historic Windsor Train Station building, which features artists’ studios and a classroom space where we host visual arts classes for adults of all experience levels. Our artists-in-residence host a monthly Open Studios, inviting the general public to see their creative processes in their studio spaces.
