About Us

The original Lincoln Sailing Club was formed in 1970 from the inspiration of avid sailors who wanted to teach the youth of Hingham and nearby towns to sail. Rowing was added in 2002 and has enjoyed great popularity. In 2005, we changed our name to Lincoln Maritime Center.

In 2007, Lincoln was awarded the Massachusetts Bay Sailing Association Leonard B. Fowle Yacht Club of the Year Award.

A licensed non-profit organization, Lincoln offers scholarships based on financial need which are available to eligible sailors and rowers of all ages. For more information call 781-741-5225.

In all programs, Lincoln Maritime Center is committed to it’s Core Values:

  • Safety
  • Satisfaction
  • Respect for the environment
  • Respect for the community
