About Us

Volunteers of America Western Washington and its 450 professional employees leverage community support to respond to the 350,000 requests for assistance received each year.

This regional branch of the National non-profit human service agency operates a $20 million budget in eight counties, and customizes resources to unmet local needs while also creating opportunities for people to experience the joy of serving others. Programs build individual and community capacity with a particular focus on:

- children and youth, supporting their positive development

- low-income individuals and families, promoting their self-sufficiency

- seniors and those with developmental disabilities, fostering their independence

Volunteers of America Western Washington is recognized among the top 30 non-profit organizations in the region by Puget Sound Business Journal.
