SAFE ZONES Promise Community-Hub
Mission
Promise Community-Hub is a non-profit organization established in 2020 in an effort to build relationships and collaborate with other organizations and volunteers to better understand and advocate for the needs and concerns of residents living in high crime and poverty levels.
Our Partner
Safe Zones is a multifaceted non-profit 501C3 Community Organization dedicated to serving residents of Youngstown. Our goal is to bring residents together to help foster growth, restore a sense of safety and increase pride in the Youngstown community.
In collaboration, Promise Community-Hub and Safe Zones have held Annual Easter, Back to School, Thanksgiving and Christmas Events which provided over 600 residents with free resources, home cooked meals, toys and a safe place to gather and network.
About Us
In collaboration Promise Community-Hub and Safe Zones have hosted Annual Easter, Back to school, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Events since 2018. We provided over 600 residents with meals and provided 426 children with Christmas toys. The overall goal of this collaboration is:
- Help ensure the safety, well being, and growth of underserved individuals and families in our community particularly children living in high crime and high poverty rate areas.
- To provide safe family geared events where community members can come together and network in a safe environment.
- To form a community collaborative that will conduct one on one and group meetings with community members and leaders.
