National United Methodist Church

We are a multi-site United Methodist church in northwest Washington DC. Five pillar ministries focus and amplify our work to make the love of God visible:

Learning—Encouraging thoughtful engagement with the Bible, tradition, and society through our God given reason and experience.

Praising—Acknowledging God as sovereign above sovereigns by participating in the Kingdom of God envisioned by Hebrew and Christian prophets through music, worship, and the arts within and beyond the local church.

Caring—Demonstrating the loving presence of Christ in our midst by extending mercy, justice, and joy within and beyond the local church.

Sharing—Welcoming the Holy Spirit by opening our hearts, minds, and doors to all humanity.

Serving—Partnering with neighbors to extend radical hospitality, transform lives, and pursue justice
