About Us

Recycled Love is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of Baltimore's homeless pets.

The group was founded in 2004 by Sallyann Jennings as a means to support her efforts to find forever homes for Baltimore City's unwanted, abused, abandoned, and death-row shelter animals. Today, Recycled Love continues to follow the principles established by Ms. Jennings as we work towards our shared goal. . .

Recycled Love rescues animals from local shelters which we believe will make wonderful pets. (We do not to take owner-surrendered, family pets.) Once we have taken an animal into our system it receives proper veterinary care, is brought up-to-date on all of its vaccinations, and it is spayed or neutered. If necessary, our animals receive appropriate physical and/or behavioral rehabilitation prior to being placed up for adoption. When ready, our animals are sent into foster care to help them transition to their future permanent homes.
