The mission of the Carondelet Historical Society is "Preserving and Presenting the Heritage of Carondelet." We offer a museum, library, and archive to the community. Our Museum is housed in and focuses on the 1873 Des Peres School building, the site of the first publicly-funded Kindergarten in the United States.
