International Migrants' Development Fund, Inc.

The International Migrants’ Development Fund (FIDMi) is an independent not-for-profit organization whose mission is to contribute to the reduction of poverty in migrant communities in the United States and in their communities of origin.

FIDMi conceived a development model in which migrant communities and their home communities will have access to financial institutions. FIDMi also developed a cost effective, socially responsible alternative remittance mechanism in which the profits are invested in social and economic development activities in the targeted communities.
