409th Manchester Scouts

We offer fun, challenge and adventure to members aged between 4 and 25 in the Wythenshawe area.

At 409th Manchester Scout Group, we prepare young people with skills for life. You can learn survival skills, first aid, cooking and even expedition skills that can lead to the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world. There’s something for every young person, whatever their physical ability.

Enjoy exciting, challenging, and stimulating activities each week. This has a positive impact on their lives. Every young person in Scouting enjoys a balanced range of activities, events and experiences, based around subject areas we call Programme Zones. These cover a huge range of activities, from outdoor and physical pursuits to community involvement, creative expression and learning about the wider world.
