About Neighbors Link Stamford
Neighbors Link Stamford is non-profit organization, established in 2011, that provides a comprehensive resource center for recent immigrants in the Stamford, Connecticut area.
The mission of Neighbors Link Stamford is to strengthen the whole community by actively enhancing the healthy integration of immigrants.
Neighbors Link Stamford (NLS) was formed by a group of over 60 community stakeholders working to address the immigrant integration needs of the greater Stamford area. Incorporated in December 2010, Neighbors Link Stamford became the inaugural affiliate of the Neighbors Link Network, which first developed a “best practice” model for immigrant integration in nearby Mt. Kisco, NY over a dozen year ago. After receiving its 501(c)(3) designation in May, 2011, NLS opened its community center for recent immigrants in Stamford’s Waterside neighborhood in June 2011.
