About Us

The American Red Cross mission is to provide relief to victims of disasters and to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. The Red Cross empowers ordinary people to perform extraordinary acts. We train. We mobilize. Whether it is a tornado or a heart attack; a call for blood or a call for help, the American Red Cross is there.

The American Red Cross - Wisconsin Region provides community outreach and education, disaster relief, health and safety training and serves to the Armed Forces to individuals who live and work in the state of Wisconsin.
Community outreach and education involves providing free information about Red Cross services to the community as well as educating individuals and families about various safety issues and disaster preparedness.
Disaster relief involves providing services to those impacted by disaster such as fire, flood, tornado and other severe weather. Disaster relief covers basic human needs including food, clothing, temporary lodging, medications and medical supplies, crisis counseling, financial assistance, and referrals to community resources.
Health and Safety services involves training individuals in life-saving skills, such as First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use.
The American Red Cross provides services to the Armed Forces, including emergency communication to deployed service members, support to veterans and their families and special events.
The American Red Cross provides nearly half of the nation's blood supply to patients in 2,500 hospitals across the country through its national network. The Red Cross collects blood donations every day to meet the needs of accident victims, cancer patients and children with blood disorders.
