New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra

Serving central New Jersey for sixty-five years, the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra’s mission is to increase its audience’s access to and expand their appreciation of classical music through innovative programming and community-engaged collaboration.

The New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra is a professional orchestra based in central New Jersey that hosts regular performances of time-honored classics alongside new/contemporary classical music with ensembles both large and small and in traditional and nontraditional spaces. Its programming typically includes two marquee concerts per season, as well as several smaller salon performances. The ensemble actively works to ensure that its performers and board reflect the diversity of central New Jersey, and that its programming reduces barriers to access to classical music, especially among underepresented communities. To this end, it regularly collaborates with local ensembles and organizations.
