    The Ionia R. Whipper Home has been a sanctuary of help, hope, and healing for young women in the DMV for 90 years. This is because:

    ·      We awaken hope, honor and dignity in every woman who seeks assistance through our programs

    ·      We believe holistic solutions, trauma-informed programs, education, tools and resources should be accessible to all women and their children

    ·      Our programs are flexible and adapt to the evolving needs of women and the community

    ·      Our Home is a safe haven for women that leads to transformation and wholeness
