Oberlin Community Services
285 South Professor Street
Oberlin Community Services has been a fixture in Oberlin for over 50 years, beginning as a group of concerned citizens looking to provide referrals, information, and limited assistance, and evolving into the agency we are today. We provide emergency housing, utility, prescription, and food assistance to residents of Oberlin and southern Lorain County. Our choice food pantry is open every weekday, as well as the second Saturday of each month. To supplement our pantry during the summer growing season, we have a large community garden, which provides any community member with free access to fresh, locally-grown produce. We also coordinate many services within the city, including America Counts, a middle-school tutoring program, and Meals On Wheels, a service to provide delivery of daily meals to homebound residents.
