Inspiration Corporation

In an atmosphere of dignity and respect, Inspiration Corporation helps people who are affected by homelessness and poverty to improve their lives and increase self-sufficiency through the provision of social services, employment training and placement, and housing.

Inspiration Corporation currently encompasses many programs. Inspiration Cafe (Uptown) serves meals in a restaurant-style setting, as well as providing other supportive services designed to help individuals on their journey toward self-sufficiency. The unique milieu of this cafe is what makes Inspiration a safe, supportive and motivational environment unlike any other in Chicago and impacts the lives of guests for years. Inspiration Kitchens is our restaurant and restaurant-skills training program.

Today, Inspiration Corporation has grown to serve 2,500 individuals a year by providing meals, supportive services, vocational training, and housing - serving as a catalyst for self-reliance.
