SNF Parkway Theatre/Maryland Film Festival

The SNF Parkway Theatre is more than a movie theater. We are a neighborhood cinema that provides a welcoming space for all of Baltimore’s movie lovers. Whether it’s the 100+ film screenings during the Maryland Film Festival or our window exhibition space highlighting dynamic digital media artists, the SNF Parkway is Baltimore’s destination for showcasing and celebrating the art form of film.

As a signature program of the SNF Parkway, the Maryland Film Festival is the state's largest film festival, taking place annually each spring. The hundreds of filmmakers who have hosted screenings within Maryland Film Festival include such names as John Waters, Barry Levinson, Kathryn Bigelow, Jonathan Demme, Melvin Van Peebles, Alex Gibney, Matt Porterfield, Joe Swanberg, Lisandro Alonso, Todd Solondz, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Lena Dunham.

The mission of the Maryland Film Festival is to bring films, filmmakers, and audiences together in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere that reflects the unique aspects of our community, while participating in and adding to the larger film dialogue across the country and across the world.
