Amanecer Community Counseling Service

Amanecer Community Counseling Services strives to provide quality mental health services to the under-served populations of Downtown Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. We provide easily-accessible services to adults and children in the Downtown Los Angeles area that are individualized to meet the patient's needs exactly. Schools, hospitals, clinics, and law enforcement offices refer clients to ACCS and based on their case, we enroll them in the program that will provide the client with their best chance of improvement in the shortest, but most effective, amount of time.

Many of the under-served populations in Downtown, Central and South Los Angeles and its surrounding areas do not have access to mental health services; additionally, many people do not even realize that their issues warrant these types of services. Stigma and socioeconomic status play a large role in the lack of service seeking, but even those who do seek services often fail to remain active in them because they are not individualized and can take years to work.
