The Community Family, Inc.

The Community Family, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high quality adult day health services that keep adults in their homes as long as possible. Our services are based on a deep respect for the dignity, self-esteem, and vitality of all those we serve. We are committed to improving the quality of life for both our participants and their families. The Community Family has been a leader in the field of adult day health services for over 30 years. We pioneered specialized adult day health services for those with memory loss and opened the first such program in Massachusetts. The Community Family currently operates three thriving adult day health centers: The Everett Center, which offers a traditional adult day health program for elders and disabled adults; The Buddy Coholan Memory Loss Center in Medford, which offers a memory loss adult day health program; and The Lowell Center, which offers both a traditional adult day health program and a memory loss program. Our Philosophy of Care is rooted in a deep respect for the dignity and self-worth of each individual. Our programs emphasize feelings of accomplishment, self-worth and belonging. Individualized care plans recognize the unique circumstance of each participant and their family.
