WENTZVILLE MISSOURI COMMUNITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

  • Mission

Mission: To preserve and share our history with the public. VISION: Our history available to everyone

    About Us

The Wentzville, Missouri Community Historical Society was organized in 1975. We work to preserve the history of Wentzville and the surrounding communities. We operate a small museum in the Caboose on Main Street. We are in the process of organizing our archives and making them accessible to the community. We also conduct an annual cemetery tour, participate in Wentzville Days, as well as other fund raising activities. We recently launched our Website and will be adding more content. Phase Two of our website will allow members to access a member only section. We are in the process of recreating the WW2 Honor Roll that was originally erected in 1944 but was removed in the 1960's. We have an active presence on Facebook and we are looking to engage in other social media platforms. We have four general membership meetings every year. Finally we are looking at ways to engage younger and obtain younger members.
