    The Northeast Bronx Community Farmers Market is committed to working with local farmers and producers to bring fresh, local food to our neighbors. Our mission to use the market as an opportunity to educate, to inform and to create a destination that brings our neighbors together. With a perfect location on the waterfront at the historic Preston High School at 2780 Schurz Avenue in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx, our market includes music and free classes (including yoga, zumba and meditation) out on the lawn.

    About Us

    We have been running a CSA in Locust Point for 6 years and this year we are expanding our efforts by starting a Farmers Market. Our fledgling market is a huge success with our customers and vendors alike, this is something our community has been longing for. Our goal is to keep bringing in more vendors, start offering cooking demos and workshops, gardening and seed starting classes and more healthy living programs. Our CSA is serving over 50 families and we are looking forward to reaching 10 times more than that with this farmers market.
