    Heart and Soul, Inc. mission is to improve the quality of life for San Mateo County, California consumers of mental health services by promoting peer support and wellness and recovery, advocating for consumer needs on a local, state, and national level, and working diligently to erase the stigma of mental illness everywhere.

    About Us

    A compssionate consumer-run mental health servieces agency founded in 2005, Heart and Soul Inc. now reaches over 7000 program participants per year through our Self Help Centers and anti-stigma programming. We offer a variety of recovery oriented and wellness support classes within San Mateo County.

    Supporting our participants in taking a whole-person centered approach towards their mental wellness is our goal. Through peer-to-peer counseling, self-help groups and our highly respected campaign, Seeing Through Stigma, we encourage individuals with mental health challenges to be engaged in their recovery efforts.
