Mission Statement: The Armed Services YMCA enhances the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life

·        Charity Navigator 4 Star and Charity Watch “A” rating

·        84 cents/dollar goes to services

·        No government funding; all donations remain local

Population Served: Military members and families. Focus on young, single-income and displaced junior military families. 7,762 non-repeating participants (69% E-5 or junior) were provided 26,926 units of service in 2016.

Impact Goals: Assisting service members and their families adapt to military life through no-cost/low-cost programs that:

·        Build support networks

·        Promote social development

·        Enhance academic achievement

·        Strengthen family resiliency
