About Us

The NIPC provides information, materials and resources to prevent and reduce the intentional inhalation (i.e. huffing, sniffing) misuse of common household and office products. We have a quarterly e-newsletter, extensive free written materials, resources and videos. We conduct trainings, presentations and workshops. Our website is in English and Spanish. Since 1992 we have conducted and led an annual community awareness and mobilization campaign, National Inhalants & Poisons Awareness Week (NIPAW), to alert communities about the dangers of inhalant abuse (a local coordinator's toolkit is provided to each particiapting individual or organization). Typically over 1,500 organizations from throughout the United States and abroad particapate in the campaign. Our toll free phone number is 800/269-4237. We are a nonprofit corporation and all services are provided at no cost but we encourage voluntary payment.
