  • About Us

Based out of a 56,000-square-foot building resting on 63 acres, the St. Joseph Center of Arkansas is an independent nonprofit. Our mission is to preserve and restore the historic property though sustainable farming and food production, providing programs that educate, promote agri-tourism, and support community outreach. Historically, St. Joseph's served as an orphanage run by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica. In addition to being on the National Register of Historic Places, St. Joseph’s is designated a Century Farm by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture.
