    The mission of The Bridge is to help young people and their families achieve social and emotional health. We exist to help troubled kids and kids in trouble feel better and live more successful lives regardless of their ability to pay for services. The Bridge is a 501(c) 3 located in Palatine, IL and serves 21 cities and villages in the northwest Chicago suburbs. The agency is governed by a 19 member board of directors under which an Executive Director manages a staff of 21 employees (14 full-time and 7 part-time). The Bridge provides comprehensive direct services including individual, family, and group counseling, substance abuse prevention and counseling, crisis intervention services (to runaway, locked-out and homeless youth), suicide and psychiatric assessments, mentoring, youth leadership development, and parent education.
