UNIFEM/USNC National Capital Chapter

UNIFEM/USA, the United States Committee for the United Nations Development Fund for Women, is one of 19 UNIFEM National Committees worldwide. We provide support to UNIFEM by increasing public awareness of UNIFEM's mission, and by fundraising in the United States for UNIFEM's programs. Chartered in 1983, the US Committee is a 501 (c)(3) organization and contributions to the US Committee are tax deductible.

The National Capital Chapter of UNIFEM/USA seeks to implement UNIFEM/USA’s mission on a local level in the Washington, DC area. We have recently stepped up our efforts to network with like-minded organizations and continue to hold intellectually stimulating events to increase awareness and raise funds for UNIFEM/USA.
