Our Lady of the Hills (OLH), a co-educational Catholic college preparatory school, commits to providing a rigorous, distinguished education to students within a caring, diverse Christian community valuing the potential and dignity of every student.
Our Lady of the Hills is committed to providing an excellent academic, values-based educational option for the young men and women of Texas Hill Country. An independently owned nonprofit organization, OLH is governed by a board of directors working in collaboration with the Archdiocese of San Antonio’s Department of Catholic Schools to ensure the highest standard of private education.
The OLH campus accommodates both male and female students grades 9 through 12. Ecumenical in its outreach, the school teaches the doctrines and practices of the Catholic faith and helps students examine his or her own religious beliefs. It is the only Catholic high school within a 70 mile radius of Kerrville, Texas.
The OLH curriculum and extra-curricular activities are rooted in the traditions of the Jesuit and Dominican orders, based on the philosophies of education and service to others. Jesuit education is a call to human excellence, to the fullest possible development of all human qualities. This backbone supports a rigor and academic excellence that challenges each student to develop all of his or her talents to the fullest. It is a call to critical and disciplined studies. A call to the development the whole person, mind and heart, intellect and emotions, all for the Greater Glory of God.
