    The Developing Families Center (DFC) at 801 17th St., NE, Washington, DC is an innovative, collaborative model of providing services to childbearing and childrearing families in Wards 5 and 6. It is the umbrella organization that partners with Community of Hope/Family Health and Birth Center, and the UPO (United Planning Organization) Early Childhood Development Center to provide women’s health and birth care and child health services; parenting and health education and social supports; and an infant-toddler child development program at one site.
