About Us

Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) is the only non-profit in Colorado that raises funds to help Coloradans afford energy for their homes. Our programs include energy bill payment assistance, energy efficiency improvements for affordable housing and nonprofit facilities, and emergency home heating system repair.

EOC distributes funding to 125 emergency assistance sites across the state, including the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). Funds are administered as direct payments to local utility and fuel companies to pay a portion of limited-income households' overdue bills. Our Nonprofit Energy Efficiency Program (NEEP) funds energy audits and efficiency measures for nonprofit facilities so they can maximize their budgets for vital community services. And lastly, EOC is proud to be a the new administrator of the heating repair system program to help low-income Coloradans needing emergency repair or replacement of their primary home heating system, such as a furnace or boiler.
