    Door of Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization whose mission is to equip homeless families to rebuild their lives. Since 1985, we have been providing transitional housing and a restoration program especially designed for homeless families with children.

    A little about our program:

    All family types

    One of the few places that will accept the three main family types of all sizes:

    - single mothers (including victims of domestic violence) with children - single fathers with children - married couples with children

    Note - Children are kids 17 or younger

    Holistic approach

    Door of Hope provides a solid foundation for families to build on to ensure a better future:

    - stability (shelter, security, structure) - anger management, parenting, finance class - job skills training - spiritual care and nurturing - 24/7 around the clock staff - individual counseling - marital counseling - one on one case management - supportive services

    Continuum of care

    Door of Hope is part of the Pasadena, Glendale and greater Los Angeles networks that offer permanent housing solutions to homelessness:

    Phase 1 - Stability Phase 2 - Housing readiness Phase 3 - Moving toward independence and housing search Phase 4 - Permanent housing and follow up services
