Urban Impact's mission is to partner with families and communities to break the cycle of social, material, and spiritual poverty. We are non-profit organization that has been a consistent presence in the Rainier Valley for 25 years, addressing core urban challenges and building thriving neighborhoods.
Our uniqueness rests in our commitment to the principles of Christian Community Development, living in the community we serve, and partnership with the local church. We believe that long-term neighborhood transformation can be achieved by building community, developing capacity, raising leaders, and drawing people to the good news of Jesus. Guided by this strategy, we develop programs that meet tangible community needs and partner with local churches as we engage the community.
