About Us
I founded this affinity group because I was inspired by the UC Berkeley campus group, SANE (Students for A Non Religious Ethos). In 2008, we put on an event in Dwinelle Auditorium with Richard Dawkins. Hundreds waited in line for it!
I am also incorporating Culture Jamming, Urban Prankster, Improv Now, and other movements into my group.
I think there needs to be more discussion and dialogue on this sensitive subject. Religious conversations usually get "opted out" of intellectual debate. Now that I live in a small town on a tropical island - I am going to start something!
