DCRAC's mission is to ensure equitable treatment and equal access to credit and capital so Delawareans can buy homes, stay in their homes, resolve their debts, and plan their financial future. We work to reduce the racial wealth divide that leaves an average American family of color with only 16 cents for every dollar owned by the average White family.
Chartered in 1987 to ensure that Delaware's financial institutions understood and responded to the convenience and credit needs of low-income and minority borrowers of mortgages and consumers of banking, DCRAC has been transforming financial lives of our neighbors. Our target community is statewide and largely of modest means.
