OHEL’s Kadimah PROS is a new and comprehensive recovery oriented program for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. The goal of the program is to integrate treatment with group therapy, support, and rehabilitation in an individualized and client-choice driven menu of clinical and educational services.

    Kadimah PROS uses a focus on goal setting as a powerful process in recovery, in thinking about one’s ideal future, and to help turn motivation into reality.The process of setting goals helps develop voice and choice in where to go in life. By knowing precisely what one wants to achieve, the individual will develop a road map - an Individual Recovery Plan. Goals for individuals in the program are to: improve functioning, reduce inpatient utilization, reduce emergency services, reduce contact with the criminal justice system, increase employment, attain higher levels of education, and secure preferred housing.
