The City College Academy of the Arts/The CUNY Early College Initiative

It is the mission of The City College Academy of the Arts to enrich our students through a process that builds character,creativity and imagination. We will enable our students to develop intellectually,emotionally and socially with the support of a community of learners,parents partner organizations,artists,teachers and college faculty. We shall accomplish this mission through the medium of the arts as both a vehicle for expression and a lens for understanding. In doing this, we seek to expand the opportunity for college completion for students historically underrepresented in college. We persue this endeavor with the core principles of scholarship,service, creativity, community, character and imagination.
