Jersey City Economic Development Corporation

The Jersey City Economic Development Corporation (JCEDC) was incorporated in 1980 as a private 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation with the support of the Jersey City Administration and Municipal Council.JCEDC has never deviated from its original mission: to “promote, encourage and assist the industrial, commercial and economic development of the City of Jersey City…creating greater employment opportunities and broadening the base of the tax structure.”
