By learning the values of loving, leading and living from strong female role models, stars of Every Girl Shines will feel empowered to shine bright like a diamond!

    About Us

    Every Girl Shines is the vision of founder, Carrisa Jones. In 2008, serving as a Youth Director for her church, Carrisa realized that there was no support network for the young women in her community. Wanting to provide an inclusive space for them to lean on and learn from each other, she along with former Vice President of Board, Melva Robertson, started Angels Ministry which has since transformed into Every Girl Shines.
