Central Arizona Shelter Services
Central Arizona Shelter Services was formed in 1984 in response to the need for an agency to operate an emergency shelter for the homeless in Central Arizona. It is the largest shelter and service center for homeless people in Arizona, serving men, women and families with children. CASS helps an average of 4500 unduplicated clients annually. CASS operates two facilities - the main shelter in downtown Phoenix and the family shelter in Sunnyslope.
CASS Mission Statement: Central Arizona Shelter Services empowers men, women and children with diverse needs to end their homelessness by providing shelter and supportive services.
