Three Rivers Waterkeeper

Three Rivers Waterkeeper formed in 2009 to serve as a voice for the people and communities who depend on the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio Rivers. Our goal is to ensure that our waters remain safe to drink, swim, fish and enjoy for all people. We patrol the rivers with the Waterkeeper boats, monitor water quality, evaluate incidents of pollution, support community education and engagement on water issues and, when necessary, work to hold polluters accountable to the laws meant to protect the health of people and the rivers.
