MOUNT VERNON AT HOME INC

Mount Vernon at Home was founded in 2007 by a group of neighbors living in the Fairfax County part of Alexandria, Virginia. Our founders started with the idea that neighbors helping neighbors could assist older adults in remaining in the home they love as they age. We are part of the national Village movement and a member of the Village to Village Network.

We rely on volunteers to provide our members with a wide range of services, like transportation to essential appointments, grocery shopping, light home maintenance, and technology support. We're looking for compassionate and caring individuals interested in meeting new people in their community while supporting their goal of aging in the home they love. We provide training, and background checks are required.
