The MY HERO Project

The mission of MY HERO is to use media and technology to celebrate the best of humanity and to empower people of all ages to realize their own potential to effect positive change in the world. Our freely accessible, not-for-profit on-line project is supported by visitors of all ages who share stories, art, and short films on our award-winning multimedia journal and digital library. Teachers use our programs in schools, libraries, after-school workshops, and in community and media centers around the world. The project was visited by over ten million people last year from over 190 countries.
