Rural Organisation For Social Elevation (ROSE)

ROSE/KSS (Rural Orgenisation For Social Elevation / Kurmanchal Seva Sansthan) is a grassroot selfhelp non-profit voluntary group/NGO aming at relieving the plight of the rural poor mainli by providing education, awareness,training,incomgeneration , improving sanitation,health care,environment protection,bio diversity conservation,organic farming,village tourism,internation cultural exchange,development education etc. ROSE would luike to attract international visitors for short and long home stay (both groups and individuals)to the Village Sonargaon kanda in the Himalayan foothills.

By 1983 KSS/ROSE was established,an example of grassroots development,wherby local people can identify problems at source and tackel them accordingly ,with

initiatives and participation in the development of practical

,sustainable solution and objectives.
