About Us
MISSION
With the mission to protect children, the most valuable and vulnerable members of the society from harm, NOOWA! Not On Our Watch Advocacy! was created. Our organization is a non-governmental organization focused on helping the world eradicate domestic (aka pimping) and international youth trafficking.
STRATEGY
Our three prong strategy involves impact assessment, education and advocacy. We seek the adoption, ratification and enforcement of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crimes, the Protocol to Suppress, Prevent and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, relevant International Labor Organization Conventions and local legislation. Where laws exist, we seek the creation of effective regulatory agencies for enforcement.
CURRENT COUNTRY FOCUS
Our current country initiatives are in: the U.S., Republic of South Sudan, Gabon and Nigeria.
