About Us
Mahila Haat (MH) is a non-profit national voluntary organization based in New Delhi. MH was established as a facilitation centre to provide forward and backward linkages to women producers and promote women empowerment and advancement. Mahila Haat works for the social and economic upliftment of marginalized rural women. We have been working in the Kumaon Hills (Uttaranchal) as our pilot project area.
It is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 on November 23, 1987. It has also been registered on September 6, 1988, under section 12A (a) of the Income Tax Act.
