About Us
The Cedar Valley Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
This is accomplished through our two 12-month programs - Love Box and Dare to Dream. Love Box serves the whole family by matching committed community volunteers with a family experiencing foster care. This volunteer group works to support the family by spending intentional time, helping meet material needs, and offering relational support. Dare to Dream matches a mentor with a youth aged 11-22. Mentors work to build meaningful connection with their youth through time-based, relational activities. Mentors work through milestones with their mentees, such as resume building, obtaining a driver's license, goal-setting, and healthy habit building.
