    About Us

SBT’s key constituency is classroom K-12 public educators. Teachers are at immediate risk of decline due to burnout and being underpaid and under appreciated.. We in SBT have personally experienced the lack of morale both in and out of the classroom, and have seen its effect on our peers. We work to ameliorate this loss of morale by providing a space and means for them to receive public acclaim and personal satisfaction through productions, public community events, and celebrations centered on educators’ work; thereby promoting the self esteem of a group challenged by parents, administration, and politicians.
