Sacred Threads is a community that strengthens women’s spiritual connections and sense of meaning across all life’s seasons through inclusive programs and a culture of compassion and support.

The mission of Sacred Threads is to strengthen women’s spiritual connections and sense of meaning across all life’s seasons through inclusive programs and a culture of compassion and support. Sacred Threads offers safe spaces for women to voice their experiences and to share their gifts with one another. We nurture the sacred within each other and build connection and belonging.

Since its inception, Sacred Threads has acted to meet the spiritual needs of the current times that we live in and to evolve with the times. The organization was started in 2009 by Catholic women to meet the spiritual needs of women who were no longer part of a church or were seeking to expand their spiritual lives beyond traditional church settings. Over time, Sacred Threads has expanded its mission to serve the unique spiritual needs of women across many different backgrounds and stages of life. We serve women who are active members of religious traditions, not part of any tradition, or consider themselves “spiritual but not religious.” Women at Sacred Threads are all seeking support, a deeper connection, and greater depth in their search for the Sacred in their lives.
