    The National Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library organization’s mission is to foster a love of reading among young children and their families. It does so by mailing an age appropriate high-quality book each month to enrolled children from birth to age five. The program is free for all enrolled children.regardless of family income

    Imagination Library of Montgomery County, the local affiliate of the national organization, has been in existence for 9 years. Currently, the program in Montgomery County, MD serves approximately 2,500 children, and is looking to expand rapidly to serve more of the County’s nearly 60,000 children under the age of five.
